It all started in 1994 when Italian chocolatier Valter Bovetti opened a factory in Aubazine, France to make unique chocolate candies shaped like tools and nails! After traveling to Sao Tome, an African island in the Gulf of Guinea in 2006, Bovetti was inspired to make Fairtrade artisan chocolate decorated with flowers, nuts and sea salt.
