Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis) is an evergreen shrub or small tree up to 10 m or more (in the case of seed trees) with spaced branches. The leaves are oval, 6-30 cm long, with a pointed apex, shiny, leathery, dark green, with a serrated edge. It blooms in August-December, the fruits ripen in October-December. It grows wild in the mountains of India and Indochina. The birthplace of tea is Southwest China and the adjacent areas of Upper Burma and North Vietnam.
