When the code on the screen matches the number on the chip and the strip container, the calibration is complete. Repeat the steps for another code chip and test strip. Each bottle of test strips needs only once of this decoding step.
- Troubleshooting Common Issues: After inserting the test strip, wait for the blood drop symbol to appear on the screen before sucking blood; Please use test strips that are within the expiration date and use up within 3 months of opening. The meter will report an error if the code tag is inserted incorrectly(i.e. number backwards or mismatch), or if the blood glucose/-ketone test strip is mixed, or if there is no calibration code information available in the meter.
