The RIDGID K-45-1 230V (36053) Drain Cleaning Machine with Manual Feed, C-1IC 5/16 in. Inner Core Cable, Inner Drum, and Carrying Case (230V) is a hand-held drain cleaning machine used to clean secondary drain lines (such as those found in kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms) from 3/4" (19mm) to 2 1/2" (64mm) in diameter with the correct cable (additional cables sold separately). Depending on the cable choice, the drum will hold up to 50 feet (15.2m) of cable. The K-45 has a manual feed, using a slide action chuck for quick locking and releasing of the cable. The machine requires that the cable be fed in and out of the drum by hand.|The K-45 Drain Cleaning Machine has a double insulated design equipped with a polarized plug. A FOR/REV switch controls drum and cable rotation and the variable speed ON/OFF switch provides control of the motor. The two piece twist-lock drum will not dent or corrode, and allows easy access to the inner drum. The inner drum allows quick cable change out, helps prevent cable flip over in the drum, and reduces the likelihood of drum leakage.
