This kit includes twenty white 2-gallon buckets with white snap-on lids. These are 65 mil buckets and not the lighter weight 55mil. Stronger for stacking. Stack with caution and within reason. A great storage solution. Buckets are food-grade plastic. Lids have tear strips. Typical initial installation is with a rubber mallet. Lids will lock on. To remove the lid, first remove the tear strip by grasping the end and pulling/peeling off around the perimeter of the lid. The tabs are then free to flex and the lid can be removed and re-installed as needed. Engagement can be firm. Use of a 'lid wrench' or 'lid lifter' (available separately) can make it easier for those of us without the hand strength of our youth.
