Ghee is an ancient ingredient used in cooking that was originated in India and now being consumed globally. Ghee is shelf stable. It is great for regular cooking as well as for saut, fry, grill or drizzle on your favorite dishes for that uniquely comforting flavor! We make our Ghee with GRADE AA butter. Why is my ghee liquidy or grainy, different in texture during the different seasons when I receive it ? Ghee is a cooking medium and will melt no matter whatever the texture is, into clear golden liquid in few seconds when heated due to hot temperatures in transit during shipping or if placed in warm place. We can't assure a particular texture as that would require addition of stabilizers. We make our Ghee the old fashioned way so you can enjoy it in a pure clean form just as it has always been traditionally for 1000s of years.
